Hyderabad: The best city to do your CPL in

Updated: Jun 4, 2020

It’s not an exaggeration when we claim Hyderabad is the best city to pursue your CPL in. We can justify it from a multidimensional point of view:

Extremely Safe Location: Flying at Hyderabad is very frequent due to its location right in the heart of the Deccan Plateau. It’s blessed with stable weather throughout the year, compared to coastal regions such as Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai, where flying is affected by unpredictable weather conditions (Floods, Cyclones, Extreme Rainfalls etc.) originating from the Indian Ocean.

Easy Air Clearances: Flying in Hyderabad happens at Begumpet Airport, which was the main airport before Domestic/International operations moved to RGIA in Shamshabad in 2008 (Which is 45 mins away from main city). This makes it very easy for training aircrafts to receive flying clearances within Hyderabad. Comparatively, flying clearances are very difficult for Aviation academies in Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai due to common runway usage with larger passenger airlines, extremely busy air traffic, as well as restricted air spaces in Military/VIP areas.

Low Cost of Living: Hyderabad also has a lower cost of living compared to most of the country’s major cities such as Mumbai and Bangalore. Housing rents are low, food is cheap and even a movie ticket in a premium theater is 150 Rs ($2).

Breathtaking Aerial Views: By flying over Hyderabad, you will come across some of the most breathtaking views, on a daily basis: Giant Buddha Statue/Marine Activity in Hussain Sagar Lake, Vast expanse of Medieval Golconda Fort, Lush Green National Parks, Commercial activity by Charminar and the old city, Construction/Expansion of the city, just to name a few.

Most Memorable Stay: Combined with all these advantages, Hyderabad also brings in the benefits of being in one of the major metropolitan cities of India. During your stay, you will be able to explore the bustling streets of the old town, taste the mouthwatering Hyderabadi Cuisine (Including Biriyani, Irani Chai) with a blend of Local and Arabian touches, and rapidly expanding IT sector with HQs of major multinational companies. It is also home to a wide range of Historical Monuments and Museums dating back to the Nizam's era. Hyderabad also has a vibrant social life with a wide array of clubs such as Black 22, TOT, Prism. The city is also blessed with a huge lake for sailing, national parks for joggers/nature lovers, and one of the best planetariums in India. To top all that, you wouldn’t even need a vehicle in Hyderabad since the entire city is well connected with a strong Metro Rail system. The list wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the massive collection of Megamalls, Restaurants, and Movie Theaters among others.
